DAY 1 WINNIPEG – MINNEAPOLIS, MN It’s the most wonderful time of the year to start a fun filled Christmas Celebration. Heading south for your next adventure will keep you from feeling like Frosty the Snowman in Winterpeg.

DAY 2 MINNEAPOLIS – CHAMPAIGN, IL After a good rest ye merry gentlemen and ladies, re-board the 400 horse-power sleigh and head for warmer temperatures cause baby it’s cold outside.

DAY 3 CHAMPAIGN – NASHVILLE, TN (4 NIGHTS) We are dashing through the snow, heading for Nashville tonight in our hot rod sleigh for a 4-night stay in the heart of the county music industry. We will check into the opulent and grand Gaylord Opryland Resort upon our arrival in Nashville. With the hotel grounds decorated with more than two million twinkling lights, 15,000 poinsettias, and acres of stunning Christmas decorations, the Gaylord Opryland Resort is guaranteed to evoke the season’s spirit in your heart.

DAY 4 NASHVILLE A full American Breakfast at the Gaylord Opryland Resort will greet you first thing in the morning. Sometime today, sit back and relax on the Delta River Flatboat Ride inside Gaylord Opryland. Visit ICE and see the interactive sculptures and displays made from more than 2 million pounds of ice. Have a holly jolly time in the evening at the Grand Ole Opry in the Ryman Auditorium.

DAY 5 NASHVILLE Sleepers awake for a hardy breakfast as you probably had visions of sugar plums dancing through your head all through the night and must be hungry. General Jackson Showboat Lunch Cruise and Show is included in your activities today. The rest of the day is at your leisure to visit Opry Mills, which is Tennessee’s largest outlet and value retail destination. Shop for the perfect Christmas gift for that special someone, and after enjoy supper on your own at the many fine-dining options available. You may wish to visit the rest of Madame Tussauds Nashville as an optional attraction, an interactive experience, where you can touch, see, feel and photograph figures of your favourite musicians such as Carrie Underwood, Stevie Wonder and Johnny Cash.

DAY 6 NASHVILLE A full American Breakfast will greet you first thing in the morning once again at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Then participate in a guided tour of one of the world’s most famous recording facilities, the historic RCA Studio B – once home to musical titans such as Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, and the Everly Brothers.

Later this morning, deck the halls with a Country Music Hall of Fame tour. There’s so much to explore at the Museum as we trace country music’s story from its pre-commercial years through today. From the origins of the music to interviews with icons and special featured exhibitions – the
moments that made country music history live here.

This afternoon, we are going to Broadway for a uniquely Nashville experience that the locals affectionately call ‘Honky-Tonkin’. Grab lunch and a cold beverage at one of the many honky-tonks as you listen to live country covers and sing along.

A Thanksgiving Dinner & Christmas Show featuring The Oak Ridge Boys will be your sendoff for your last evening in Nashville.

DAY 7 NASHVILLE – MEMPHIS, TN A final full American Breakfast at the Gaylord Opryland is included in our stay before we check out of the Resort today. Jingle bells rock this sleigh as we make the short drive to Memphis today to visit Sun Studio – a recording studio opened by rock-and-roll pioneer Sam Phillips in 1950. Rock and roll, country music, and rockabilly artists, including Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and many more recorded hits here. Maybe you will too!

DAY 8 MEMPHIS There’s a whole lotta shakin going on as you’re rockin’ around the Christmas tree in Graceland. It’s all about Elvis as you view where he lived, the costumes he wore, the music he created and so much more. Visit Beale Street, the city’s historic district and the place that played a substantial role in the history of the blues. Later today, chose to visit the National Civil Rights Museum (cost not included).

DAY 9 MEMPHIS – KANSAS CITY, MO Area We’ll be home for Christmas as we start making our way homeward.

DAY 10 KANSAS CITY – SIOUX FALLS, SD Christmas times a-comin’ and now your closer to being ready for it. You may have gone shopping for the perfect gift wrapped in pretty paper or just enjoyed the sights. Now enjoy the ride home while reminiscing about your wonderful Christmas trip to Nashville & Memphis in the midwinter as we overnight in Sioux Falls.

DAY 11 SIOUS FALLS – WINNIPEG, MB We wish you a Merry Christmas and Joy to the World as you say farewell to your jolly new friends, but before we head home for the holidays, make one final stop at the Terry Redlin Art Center. Now go, tell it on the mountain that Christmas time is here!
