While we are ready to welcome you back, we have a few things to share with you regarding health and safety to make sure it is an enjoyable experience for everyone.
These are some of the important new steps and procedures that we have adopted so you can reconnect to the joy of travel, and support the local communities and destinations we love, with ease and confidence.
To meet our commitment to passenger safety, we have changed our booking procedures to include signing a Waiver of Liability and answering the Health Self-Assessment questions included at the bottom of this page.
All of our guests are asked to thoroughly and regularly wash their hands and sanitize them when required. New hand sanitizers have been mounted on the front entrance of each coach and are freely available for your use. Please bring your face masks and additional hand sanitizer if you wish. Public health protocols may vary from region to region, and passengers are expected to follow them accordingly.
Beaver Bus Lines is sure going the extra mile to make us all comfortable and safe. Coaches are sanitized before the start of our tour and have always been kept to very high standards, but they recently have taken additional measures to elevate hygiene and sanitary practices. UV-C lamps have been installed to reduce viruses, bacteria, and mould in the air, and a disinfectant deodorant fogger with all-natural ingredients will sterilize interiors the night before to kill germs and provide protection for 24 hours. Drivers and Tour Directors will regularly clean and disinfect all surfaces including, handrails, door handles, tables, seats, overhead compartments, and washroom.
COVID-19 WAIVER OF LIABILITY & HEALTH SELF-ASSESSMENT
WAIVER of LIABILITY
Fehr-Way Tours cannot prevent you from potentially being exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID‑19 while using our services. Therefore, if you choose to use our services and/or enter our premises, you may increase your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. Signing this waiver acknowledges, consents to, accepts and agrees to all clauses listed below.
ASSUMPTION of RISK
Fehr-Way Tours cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19 or any other infectious disease due to using our services. It is important to note that should you test positive for COVID-19 while travelling, your participation in the tour will end, and quarantine protocols for that jurisdiction will come into effect. Public health protocols may vary from region to region, and passengers are expected to follow them, including quarantine in a foreign location at your own expense resulting in tour interruption or cancellation.
In the case of a COVID-19 related tour interruption or cancellation, our CANCELLATION POLICY will be in effect; however, all reasonable efforts will be made to provide a partial tour refund. Any refunds provided WILL NOT INCLUDE costs incurred on the clients’ behalf and/or charges Fehr-Way Tours is still obligated to pay.
For the protection and safety of our passengers and staff, masks can be worn while travelling on the motorcoach or wherever social distancing is not possible.
WAIVER of LAWSUIT
I hereby release and waive my right to sue Fehr-Way Tours and its owner, agents, employees, or other representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to using their services and premises. I have read and understood the above warning and choose to accept all the health and financial risks above to utilize Fehr-Way Tours’ services and premises.
HEALTH SELF-ASSESSMENT
Before departure, please complete a health self-assessment, and be prepared to answer the following questions:
- Are you experiencing any new or worsening COVID-19 symptoms?
i.e., breathing issues, fever (>38°C) /chills, barking cough, unusual fatigue, loss of smell/taste
- In the last 10 days, have you been in ‘close contact’ with someone who has COVID-19? If so, have you tested positive on a rapid antigen test or home self-testing kit?
If you answered ‘YES’ to any of the above questions, please call Fehr-Way Tours at 1-800-263-3691 BEFORE the day of departure.
It is also important to note again that should you test positive for COVID-19 while travelling, your participation in the tour will end, and quarantine protocols for that jurisdiction will come into effect at your own expense.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS NEVER IMPORTANT UNTIL YOU NEED IT!
Fehr-Way Tours encourages its clients to seriously consider travel insurance. Ultimately it is your decision, but Fehr-Way Tours wants you to make an informed choice on whether to insure your travel.
