DAY 1 WINNIPEG – MINNEAPOLIS, MN Today, we will be heading south for a country music lover’s dream vacation.
DAY 2 MINNEAPOLIS – CHAMPAIGN, IL Travel from Minnesota through Wisconsin’s Dairyland, to our overnight lodging in Champaign.
DAY 3 CHAMPAIGN – PIGEON FORGE, TN (3 NIGHTS) This morning, we continue our journey through Indiana and Kentucky to the Smoky Mountains.
DAY 4-5 PIGEON FORGE A full day of fun awaits us at Dollywood! This theme park brings to life the folklore of the Smoky Mountains. Tour the Dolly Parton Chasing Rainbows Museum in Dollywood. On our Great Smoky Mountains National Park tour, we will visit Clingmans Dome, where you can put each foot in a different state. During our stay, we will enjoy the exciting Dolly Parton Stampede Show and Dinner. We will also visit the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery.
DAY 6 PIGEON FORGE – NASHVILLE, TN (2 NIGHTS) This morning, we depart the Great Smoky Mountains and arrive in Music City USA – the country music capital of the world. It’s where dreamers turn to legends, and where moments are turned into lasting memories. This afternoon wander through the Country Music Hall of Fame and RCA Studio B Tour, where they preserve the evolving history and traditions of country music. We will be staying at the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort for our two nights in Nashville. Featuring a glass atrium surrounded by 9 aces of indoor gardens, winding rivers and waterfalls, this resort is like none other!
DAY 7 NASHVILLE Our Tour of Nashville includes Music Row, Printers Alley and Millionaires Row – where many music celebrities live. This afternoon, perhaps visit the Ryman Auditorium, or get suited and booted for the Wild Horse Saloon.
A highlight of your visit to Nashville will be an evening performance at the Grand Ole Opry – enjoyed from Tier 2 balcony seats to give you a complete view of the stage. This live radio broadcast is enjoyed by thousands weekly.
DAY 8 NASHVILLE – MEMPHIS, TN This morning we continue our journey to Memphis – the Land of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Today we enjoy a self-guided tour of Graceland, the legendary home of Elvis Presley where we will immerse ourselves in the Elvis Experience – the mansion, Elvis The Entertainer Career Museum, Automobile Museum, and his airplanes . Today is all about The King, where he lived, the clothes he wore, the music he made famous and so much more.
DAY 9 MEMPHIS – BRANSON, MO (3 NIGHTS) Journey from Tennessee to Missouri through the spectacular Ozark Mountains.
For our first evening in Branson, get ready for a spectacular performance by one of the city’s most beloved acts – The Haygoods. This dynamic and talented family of six, comprised of five brothers and one sister, is renowned for their high-energy, thrilling performances that showcase their incredible musical skills and unique style.
DAY 10 BRANSON Get your camera ready for a scenic City Tour. During our tour of Branson, we will make a stop at the College of the Ozarks, known as “Hard Work – U”, and pick up some student made goodies.
This afternoon is your opportunity to take in all the sights and sounds that Branson has to offer, tailored to your own pace and preferences. From attending an optional music show to browsing the shops at an outlet mall or wandering the streets of Downtown Branson, the possibilities are endless. The choice is yours!
This evening we will enjoy a wonderful time together with our new friends at a Fehr-Way Dinner.
This evening’s show will be Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express Morning Show featuring an incredible cast of dancers, singers and musicians that will capture audiences attention of all ages. This show features music of all styles, including country, rock n roll, and gospel! If you are a music lover or love good entertainment, you won’t want to miss a moment of this show.
Day 11 BRANSON The last morning in Branson is at your leisure to catch up on rest, go shopping or perhaps take in an optional show.
This late afternoon, set sail for a Dinner Cruise and adventure on the open waters of Table Rock Lake aboard the Showboat Branson Belle. As you are entertained with live music, dancing, comedy, and magic, you’ll enjoy a delicious 3-course meal prepared fresh on your 2-hour cruise!
As we approach our last evening in Branson, The Presleys’ Country Music Jubilee Show takes centre stage this evening to entertain us with a mix of country, gospel, bluegrass, and comedy. Featuring the legendary Presley family, who have performed in the Ozarks for generations, this Jubilee is a must-see variety show experience sure to be fun for the whole family.
DAY 12 BRANSON – KANSAS CITY, MO As we head north, we stop to visit Fantastic Caverns, where we’ll board the Jeep-drawn tram and experience the natural beauty and wonders of the caves. Afterwards, we stop at the Bass Pro Shop, the “Granddaddy” of all outdoor stores.
DAY 13 KANSAS CITY – WATERTOWN, SD This morning, learn about Jesse James and the famous Pony Express with a visit to the Patee House Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri.
DAY 14 WATERTOWN – WINNIPEG, MB You have dove into musical history by learning the stories behind the songs and visiting venues where artists became legends. Arrive home inspired by musical memories of a fun-filled vacation.
